This past month has brought many more blessings to our preschool here at St. Peter. The children continue to grow more and more every day. The families have been showing their love for the program by adding more days to their child’s schedule, offering to help with and prep items, and so much more! The program you all have developed here is really starting to grow on the families here and in the community.
This past month we have had a winter wonderland happening in the preschool! We have talked about snow, snowmen, penguins, polar bears, and gingerbread men. The children have had a blast playing with what feels like snow, making snowmen using lots of different items to create them, making penguins, and talking about how penguins and polar bears have many characteristics in common. We ended the month with our theme of gingerbread men. We made gingerbread cookies and somehow, they ran away! The children tried chasing them but had to keep following the notes that were left behind. Ultimately, the notes lead us back to classroom where the cookies were on their plates! The children had such a blast doing this! One day we were even able to share our cookies with the police officer who was in the parking lot! What a great month we have had! God’s Blessings, Karla Opperman
